Dear Mom,

Usually I would save these words for a fancy mother’s day card between the two of us, but I decided to do things different this year. 🙂

I am so grateful for you and for the role you have played in my life. I am so grateful that God put us together and that you were able to raise me. You are such an example of what a Godly woman is. I am so blessed to call you mom, but to now call you friend.  You are strong, caring, kind, loving, generous, prayerful, and the list goes on. I pray that I can be like you when I grow up. The love and care that you showed me growing up, has helped mold and shape me into the woman that I am today.  I hope that I have made you proud.

Now that I am a mommy myself, I appreciate all the sacrifices that you made for me growing up even more. This “mommying” thing is HARD! And you did it all by yourself… with the Lord’s help of course! You are the most amazing woman I know! I am so grateful for all the encouragement and support you have given me as I am walking in my new role as a mom. I’m learning from the best! I am also soooo happy that Rissy has you in her life. She is truly blessed to have such a strong, amazing, and praying Nana B who loves her so much. Who prayed for her loooong before she was conceived. We are truly blessed! 🙂

I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you in a very special way this year. I pray that the deepest longings and desires of your heart will come to pass. I pray that as you are embarking on this new career path, you will be strengthened, blessed and elevated. I also pray that all seeds you have sown in finances, prayers and time will yield a fruitful harvest, more than what you can contain.

I’m so proud of you and honored to call you “mom”. But even more than that… I know that Jesus is pleased with you as well. I love you so much!

Gr8fully Yours,
